Summary
Sochi 2014 is a 3D animation project created for Kenzan SA featuring a series of winter sports performed by professional athletes.
For the project, Artanim spent several days in the Swiss mountains capturing athletes across Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, ice hockey, speed skating and bobsleigh.
The captured performances were used to animate the athletes in a 360° visual experience presented at the Omega House during the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi.

Summary
Fashioning Movement is a pilot project developed with HEAD – Genève to explore new methods for evaluating garment comfort and fit while the body is in motion.
Traditional garment fitting is largely assessed on a static body. The project investigates how motion capture, animated 3D bodies and garment simulation can provide objective data on how clothing deforms, stretches and interacts with the body during movement.
The resulting measurements help visualize garment fit dynamically and establish a methodology for studying comfort beyond static evaluation.
The work serves as a preliminary study for the broader research project Fashioning Movement.
