Summary

The Next Round is a fiction project by Swiss artist Quentin Lannes exploring the body, sport and virtual interaction through boxing.

The project imagines two boxers located hundreds of kilometers apart, each fighting a digital representation of the other. Their movements are captured and transmitted through motion capture, creating a confrontation that unfolds simultaneously across physical and virtual spaces.

For The Next Round, Artanim captured the movements of boxers in action to support the development of the project.
