Summary

This live performance combines dance and 3D animation, with a crowd of virtual characters embodied on stage by a single dancer.

Before the show, Artanim captured the dancer’s choreography through motion capture and used the performance to animate multiple 3D clones. During the live performance, these virtual characters were projected across three large screens behind the dancer, who synchronized his movements with the pre-recorded animation to create the illusion of interacting with his digital doubles.

The show was created for the rebranding of Mauritius Telecom.
