Summary

We collaborated with the French Ski Federation (FFS) to make 3D scans of their best ski cross athletes. From the 3D bodies, garments are made to measure to maximize the aerodynamics of athletes at downhill. Technical clothing that earned them precious hundredths at the Olympics in PyeongChang 2018.

Summary

First project in partnership with the Geneva University of Art and Design (HEAD) to test the protocol for a more comprehensive research to improve the comfort of garments.

Today, the complex sensations of comfort (interaction body – clothing, suitability of fabrics, etc.) are subjectively evaluated on a static body. The goal of this project is to provide new knowledge about comfort and garment fit taking into account the body movement. The comfort sensation will be objectively measured with new 3D simulation tools on animated bodies, returning numerical fitting data. Finally, the existing perception of comfort will be innovated.
